Working On High Bay Lights

We had an interesting thing happen over the past few weeks since we opened. Slowly out high bay lights over the ice have stopped responding to commands to turn on effectively they are stuck permanently off. We have a very nice wireless relay system installed several years ago. It allow for our super efficient and bright LED lights, including the ability to dim the lights when people are not on the ice to save energy along with being able to remotely control them. We think the relay packs are burning out, but we are not sure why. I went up on the lift Sunday morning to grab a few and send them back to the manufacture. They are being really great, and have already shipped us replacements. Saturday morning I had an idea about how to get the lights back up and running. While we wait for them I bypassed the relays and hard wired the lights so they will all work. While I was up there I found a puck sitting perfectly on top of the light.
