  • Basic Skills Academy

Our instructors understand that your skater comes to us with unique experiences, learning styles and interests. Our goal is to get to know each child and use this knowledge to teach, guide, and support him or her. We provide quality instruction for recreational, hockey, and figure skaters of all ages.

  • Figure Skating & Freestyle Ice

Practice Makes Perfect! We welcome all freestyle level skaters to practice their skills during our freestyle practice sessions.

All practice sessions are general sessions, allowing for practice of all disciplines of figure skating. Our instructors and staff value parental involvement and encourage parents to partner with our team to give your child the most rewarding and fun learning experience possible.

  • Hockey Academy

Hockey Academy is started because of a need to increase the proficiency of the player's skating technique. For the beginner skater who is attending the Learn to Skate program - they will transition to hockey skates after attending Pre-Alpha level class. By completing the Tot-Pre Alpha levels their skating ability is strong enough to go to the next phase, which is Hockey Academy.

This is where they will learn the skills which were learned in Pre- Hockey and ready the skater for a team. This child's skating ability will make him/her a more comfortable player because they can skate.

  • Stick and Puck

Stick-n-Puck is a public session that provides an opportunity for hockey players of all ages to sharpen player skills and provide extra practice time. It is also a chance to work on skating, stick handling, shooting, and passing.

There is no pre-registration (whether online or by phone) for these sessions. The earliest a player can sign-in at the arena pro shop is 1 hour before the session starts.

  • Home School Academy

This academy is specifically designed for kids who are home schooled. We provide a chance to exercise in a FUN and SAFE environment while learning a new skill. It can even count towards your physical education credit!
